Terms of Service

By signing up for Qalaa Classes you ("Parent") agree to these terms.

1. The service

Qalaa Classes ("we") arranges qualified instructors to deliver structured after-school activity classes inside your residential apartment community. Class schedules, capacities, and pricing are listed in the app.

2. Enrollment and payment

Demo classes are free.
Subscription plans (monthly / quarterly / annual) are billed up front via Razorpay.
Prices include 18% GST. A tax invoice is emailed to you within 24 hours of every successful payment.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a subscription anytime from My Subscriptions.
Refunds for the unused portion are credited back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days, less any sessions already attended (pro-rated).
No refund on completed sessions or no-shows.

4. Pauses and rescheduling

You can pause an active subscription for up to 14 days at a time (a maximum of 30 paused days per quarter).
Individual sessions can be rescheduled subject to instructor + venue availability.
Both controls can be disabled by your apartment's coordinator at any time.

5. Code of conduct

Parents and children agree to:

Treat instructors and other families with respect.
Follow the apartment's clubhouse / venue rules.
Not photograph other children without consent.

Repeated violations may lead to a refunded exit from the platform.

6. Instructor commitments

All Qalaa instructors complete an in-app verification (Aadhaar, qualifications, police background check where available).
Instructors are required to capture a pre-class face + venue photo for the safety of your child.
Low ratings (< 3/5 across 5 sessions) automatically flag the instructor for an admin review.

7. Liability

Qalaa Classes acts as a coordinator. Instructors are independent contractors. We do our reasonable best to vet them, but we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during a class. Your apartment's standard liability/indemnity terms apply on top of these.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as we add features. Material changes are emailed to all parents at least 7 days before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Bengaluru.
